WJON IP Radio
We started this madness before 2020 and we regret nothing!
It’s like a normal radio station, but all virtual and lots of EAS.
Based out of the DC Metro, we relay almost everything and everything we receive, which could include something like a tornado warning from Mississippi, to a tsunami warning in Alaska, to even coastal flood warnings! Streams are located from AM/FM stations and also weather radio streams provided on various websites.
WJON IP Radio is an IP radio station; we do not transmit over any airwaves (AM/FM/CW/WB).

WJON IP automatically sends a Required Weekly Test (RWT) every Wednesday at 4:20p eastern time. We additionally conduct random tests of the other encoders, usually two times a week. These take place regardless of a local monthly EAS test.
